Chargers are the cause of many fires, every year.

Most of our everyday devices (phones, tablets, e-cigarettes, vacuum cleaners, etc) use chargers.

Using fake or counterfeit chargers or the wrong type of charger for your product can result in fire and explosion.

It’s important to use only the genuine chargers supplied by the manufacturer with your electrical goods. Using the correct charger may not only stop your device from getting damaged, but may save your life.

Also make sure you have a smoke and heat alarm fitted in every room where a fire could start, and get them tested regularly. Find out more about alarms here.
